The dining hall is approximately 10,200 square feet. It started as a pre-engineered metal building structure. Then by implementing certain design elements including a combination of standing seam and membrane type roofing systems, an exterior comprised of glazed aluminum storefront, brick veneer, manufactured stone, and stucco, a combination of interior finishes such as vinyl tile and ceramic floors, both painted and vinyl wall coverings, and acoustical ceilings. All of this earned Arkansas Baptist College the “Silver Award”, its second “Excellence in Design Award” in as many years, from the American Society of Interior Designers.
