About Clark Power
Clark Power Corporation has been providing outstanding electrical construction services for clients since 19XX. Based in central Arkansas, we work on projects throughout Arkansas ranging from commercial construction to healthcare facilities.
Our customers have come to expect only the best services from our skilled field staff and professional management.
Our employees are our greatest asset. They honor our focus on safety, and they uphold our commitment to quality.
Guidance from our administration has led Clark Power Corporation to our current position as a leading provider of electrical construction services in Arkansas. From our planning and logistical operations to the daily activities of our technicians in the field, we demand the highest standards of integrity and produce exceptional results in every project.
The construction industry is not known for having an outstanding safety record. One major factor is the ever-changing nature of construction sites. Unlike a manufacturing plant, office building, or warehouse, the environment of a construction site is continually being altered.
A construction site rarely looks the same from day to day or even hour to hour. New holes are dug while others are filled in. Old structures are being demolished while new structures are rising. As a result, safety hazards are constantly shifting and changing. Compounding the problem is the fact that workers may be from several different companies, each with different safety rules and procedures. In sum, construction sites can be a safety nightmare.
The Clark Power Corporation (CPC) is committed to providing the best possible working conditions for all of its employees, taking into consideration the environment and the task to be accomplished. We shall endeavor to comply with state and federal laws and regulations concerning occupational health and safety. We strongly maintain, however, that the best source of protection for the health and safety of the work force is the individual employee. We therefore require employees to follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
CPC shall strive to protect the health, safety, and security of all employees, using accepted and feasible procedures. It also recognizes its responsibility to protect the health and safety of the general public near its operations.
CPC maintains, however, that occupational health and safety policies must be balanced by an appreciation of economics constraints. We do not believe that it is practical or even possible, to eliminate every health or safety risk in the workplace.
We shall establish comprehensive and realistic policies based on past experience and good judgement to prevent unreasonable health and safety risks.
To fulfill these goals, we shall:
- Instruct all field supervisors in the proper review of their projects, teaching them how to identify safety hazards and how to administer safety management on their job sites.
- Provide all new employees with a copy of this safety policy, along with a review of the Company Safety Program, a complete safety briefing.
- A complete review of each project shall be made before actual work begins to identify as many potential safety hazards as feasible, at the same time developing a plan to guard against employee injury.
- Create a constant awareness that despite every effort the company makes the basic responsibility for employee health and safety rests with the individual.
